Cabinetry
and custom woodwork for any room in the home or
office have always been the main products the company
produces. In the last couple of years, however,
we have branched out into selling many related
products such as interior and exterior doors, stairways,
and mouldings. By offering these other products
along with our custom capabilities, we are fast
becoming a "one-stop" supplier for all
the interior woodworking needs of our clients.
The
President and CEO, Daniel Hammond, runs the business
and oversees three managers: Andrea Kiehl-Sales & Design,
Jason Reeves-Production & I.T., and Alan Bubb-Shop
Foreman. Denise Hammond oversees the bookkeeping.
In the seven-year period from 1990 to 1997, production
doubled and by the year 2001, production had double
once again. With its latest growth and development
Morning Star stands ready to break the one million
dollar mark in annual production.
Morning
Star has always been on the cutting edge
of technology and functionality. The company purchased
its first computer in 1985, well ahead of the growth
the personal computer. Morning
Star was one of the first companies to
offer a computer aided design service which provides
customers the opportunity to step inside their
project and preview their design and changes within
their home, even before the work on them begins.
This feature now has become the industry standard.
In 2004 MorningStarWood.com first appeared online.
We are now currently in the process of upgrading
our manufacturing equipment for increased productivity
and specialization.
